Texas City Christmas Parade

For safety reasons, candy will not be thrown or passed out this year at this parade. With the Christmas Parade being held at night, it's harder to see anyone who may step into the street. This decision was not made lightly, and it was only done to ensure the safety of everyone in the community.

The City of Texas City will have bags stuffed with candy and ready for the kids at some of the other Christmas events this holiday season.

Candy will still be thrown at all other city parades.
