Galveston County Day at the Capital

On March 1, 2023, teams of 3-4 people from Galveston County government offices and chamber members from Texas City-La Marque, Galveston, Santa Fe, and League City-Bay Area will visit members of the Texas legislature (House and Senate) in Austin to meet about projects that need state support to implement. The projects include things like coastal protection and port improvements. The teams will also deliver the Galveston County’s legislative agenda booklet, gift bag, and an invitation to Saengerrunde Hall for a legislative reception.

Chartered buses will leave from varying locations across Galveston County. Whether you will be utilizing bus transportation or not let us know in the application so that you may be placed on a legislative agenda team correctly.
