Set your mind on island time and join us for an evening of dining and celebrating! This year's festivities will mark 55 years of honoring and awarding local businesses in the community.

Every year citizens and businesses are nominated for the prestigious awards listed below. These four major awards will be presented at the gala.

2023 Citizen of the Year - an individual (or couple) whose volunteerism and outstanding service and dedication have made a significant contribution to our communities over the past year.
Jimmy Hayley Community Service Award - someone who has continually demonstrated an unselfish commitment to the community over several years.
Small Business of the Year - A local business with less than 150 employees that has demonstrated community involvement, customer service, and had special accomplishments in 2023.
Large Business of the Year - A local business with more than 150 employees that has demonstrated community involvement, customer service, and had special accomplishments during 2023.

The Chamber Annual Gala will take place on Friday, March 1 at the Doyle Convention Center in Texas City.

The 2024 theme "Escape to Margaritaville" will transport guests to a picturesque tropical oasis. The evening will be filled with excitement, delicious treats, an exquisite dinner and captivating music. This is a night for ALL chamber members to gather and celebrate. The banquet program includes the installation of new Chamber officers and directors.
