Looking to run a 5k? Love to walk for health? Thinking about running your first race or are you a seasoned competitor and are seeking to find an inspirational and beautiful course? Or, maybe you are looking for a cause to support that you can really connect with? 
 
If you answered yes to any of these questions you should be lining up at the start line for the 8th annual Run for Health 5K in Nassau Bay (Clear Lake), Texas. On Saturday, November 13th, at 7:15am, there will be a USATF certified 5k race benefiting the children of Anchor Point and their families that winds through the stunning waterfront community of Nassau Bay. 

Debbie Simmons, Anchor Point Founder & CEO, said, “We are working to end the cycle of poverty, providing true heart connections to orphaned children & troubled youth, walking alongside young families through programs like ‘All Star Dad’s’, and helping women Heal Over Past Experiences because no one is beyond hope”. On race day you won't want to miss out on chance to win $200 to first place overall male & female runners and all the wonderful  door prizes to be given away to some lucky runners!Online registration at: https://www.anchorpoint.us/run-for-health/ OR on race day at the event from 5:45 - 6:45 AM.


The Anchor Point Family Network is available to help families thrive through their Obria Medical Clinic, Hope Family Center, Excellent Minds Academy and Hope House. Today’s families face many challenges. From the moment of pregnancy through the teenage years and into adulthood, these issues impact the family unit. Anchor Point comes alongside these families to tackle these challenges and to help families thrive. Anchor Point provides free and low-cost well-woman medical services, pregnancy and parenting support services, a maternity home, as well as licensed therapy, family camps, education and recovery groups to struggling families in our community.
